STATE PRIMARY ELECTION - TUESDAY, JUNE 12, 2012
Absentee Ballots are now available at Town Hall in Council Chambers B during regular business hours. Not sure of which Ward/Precinct you are in? Click here to find out - we want you to obtain the correct sample ballot. There will be State Candidate Ballots only: Ward1/Precinct 1 Sample Ballot, Ward 1/Precinct 2 Sample Ballot, Ward 1/Precinct 3 Sample Ballot.

You may request an absentee ballot by completing the Application for an Absentee Ballot form and mailing it to the Scarborough Town Clerk's Office at P.O. Box 360, Scarborough, ME 04070-0360 or the voter can contact the Town Clerk's Office at 730-4020 to make their request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to them or go to https://www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/online-form.pl and fill out the e-form request.

Voting will take place at the High School Gymnasium on Election Day, Tuesday, June 12, 2012, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. As a reminder the main entrance to the High School is now located at the traffic light in front of the Municipal Building at 259 U.S. Route One.

One can go directly to the Department of Public Works page for all the latest road notices, updates, schedules, road postings,lists and maps.

62-AND OLDER PROPERTY TAX ASSISTANCE REFUNDS
Scarborough adopted a resident 62-and older Resident Senior Property Tax Assistance Ordinance (pdf). The application for the program must be filed with the Assessor by October 15th of each tax year. The application form is available. If you have any questions concerning this program, and for more information, please call the Assessor's Office at 730-4060.

NEW WEBGIS ONLINE MAPPING APPLICATION

The Town of Scarborough is pleased to announce the release of its new online mapping application. The WebGIS is an interactive map that runs in a web browser and provides the public with geographic data that was not previously accessible to them. Some of the data that is available includes: road centerlines, property lot lines, zoning, utilities, floodplains, water features, contours, and much more.
