Vacation Bears

Come and check out our ScarBEARo family! Meet our bears Hunney, Bessey, Gully, Madison, and Hartley Bear! If your family is taking a vacation, you may sign out one of our mascots and let it accompany you on your trip. We encourage you to take pictures and send postcards about your journey, and we will keep track of destinations at our office on the Travel Tracker board. Come by before your vacation and sign out a special bear from the Scarborough Community Services Office.

Sponsor a Tree Program

This program gives people the opportunity to purchase a tree to pay tribute to a loved one.  These trees are located in one of our new town parks -- Memorial Park -- located behind the Scarborough Municipal Building.  Feel free to stop by this beautiful park and check out the existing trees.  A granite stone marker will be located by your tree with information pertaining to your loved one.  Feel free to complete our Sponsor a Tree Form and return it to Community Services on the third floor of the Municipal Building.

Sponsors and Benefactors

We are pleased to acknowledge sponsors within our community who support Community Services in its countless activities provided to the residents of the Town of Scarborough. Each cash donation or in-kind contribution helps to support special events including, but not limited to, SummerFest, WinterFest, and Autumn Harvest.

For more information on becoming a Sponsor or Benefactor, please contact us at 730-4150.

Please take a look at our list of Sponsors and Benefactors.

Non-profit organizations may request to hang a banner across Route 114/Gorham Road (by Scarborough High School) to announce an upcoming non-profit activity in the Town of Scarborough.
