GIS Division
The GIS (Geographic Information System) Division of the Public Works Department maintains a town-wide collection of geographically referenced information that resides in a geographic database designed to efficiently capture, store, update, manipulate, analyze, and display all forms of geographically referenced information. The GIS provides different departments with improved accessibility of existing information, and encourages cooperation and communication between departments.
