The intent of the Scarborough Police Department Law Enforcement Explorer Post is to educate youth in Law Enforcement, community service, supervision and team skills. The education aspects provide knowledge of law enforcement's function in the community. Through involvement, the Explorer program establishes an awareness of the complexities of police service. The key to success will be police and private citizen involvement. Community involvement will be encouraged as well as volunteer service assisting the Police Department.
