A neighborhood meeting was held on Thursday, June 27th at camp Ketcha.

Participants first identified their favorite places in the Black Point and Prouts Neck Neighborhoods. These included natural features (), active recreation resources (), residential areas, historic features ().

Next, participants shared their visions of the future. The following notes summarize their vision.

- very limited growth
- safety
- more efficient government
- less bureaucracy and less taxes
- no service or commercial driveways
- more walking and bike trails
- preserve ecology of rivers, marsh, bay, beaches, ponds
- PARK! in old drive-in location with a bandstand, sr. citizens center, trails, fields, teen center
- ban ATVs, they cause ecological damage
- restore marsh
- more volunteerism
- indoor pool

- maintain a quaint working waterfront community
